Halo: Reach developer Bungie have taken some action against the most notorious offenders of their online services. Specifically, the studio’s reset the accounts of 15,000 individuals who they deem to be “the most egregious Challenge Reset abusers.”
The 15,000 seems like a lot of players, especially considering Bungie is being very careful to make sure that only true offenders get caught. This week, Bungie’s automated Banhammer system is undergoing some editing in order to cut down on false accusations. Of course, none of this would be necessary if we could all just be cool and stop resetting challenges.
