If you were a user of Amazon's XBLA digital download codes, you're out of luck.
According to a report by GamesIndustry.biz, Amazon has de-listed all XBLA titles from its website. The report states that Amazon continues to sell Microsoft Points and Xbox Live subscription cards.
While the XBLA download codes are no longer available, codes for PSN and WiiWare titles are still up. This may be a case of Amazon simply phasing out digital downloads from all consoles, but if it was, why not simply remove all console versions of digital downloads at once?
The news is of course bad for XBox owners, who could use Amazon's digital downloads to purchase XBLA games directly, rather than having to spend money on Microsoft Points, which inevitably have remainders left over.
Will this affect your buying habits in any way? I don't buy too many XBLA titles, but it's always a shame to see an option for consumers disappear.
