Halo: Reach will get its first map pack on Nov. 30. Named "Noble Map Pack" the DLC pack will include three new maps (Tempest, Anchor 9 and Breakpoint), new Achievements worth a total of 250 Gamerscore and will be available for purchase for 800 Microsoft Points.

The NPD shook up its reporting methods, ranking multiplatform games across all consoles instead of breaking them down individually. Ironically, a console exclusive title defeated the formatting with 3.3 million copies sold.

The quagmire that is the attempt to make a Halo movie got a little more interesting today.
Back in 2009, Steven Spielberg was supposedly “blown away” by a spec script from Stuart Beattie (Pirates of the Caribbean and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) based on the novel, Halo: The Fall of Reach.
